Dancing with the Stars Popularity

While many shows have been popular over the years, nowadays it seems that reality shows and competitions are what captured the imagination and engender fan loyalty, and Dancing with the Stars is no exception. While many of these competitions and reality shows have an excellent prize at the end of the show for the winner, Dancing with the Stars is a bit different.

The stars themselves as well as the professional dancers do get paid for being on the show, but it's nothing compared to what they're paid for movies or other shows. There is no grand prize at the end of the show, just a small trophy and a title. There is also no dancing contract, music contract, or other contract available for the winner. This makes this show a bit different, and those that are there are actually there because they're enjoying themselves and want to learn to dance and compete on the show.

A wonderful opportunity to not only learn to dance with grace and charm, but also to compete against others who are in the same boat and need to learn as well. Not only are the stars and celebrities that are chosen for the show competitive by nature, but they also don't want to lose out and wind up looking a bit foolish.

One of the other reasons this show is popular is because of the professionalism within the competition itself. The dancers dressed up in traditional dance costumes, and then dance their hearts out in order to stay on the show. Paired up with a professional, each celebrity must learn a new dance each week. It's fun to watch the costumes, and also look forward to your favorite move on.

Also, reality shows are all the fad and for those who like to hear other people criticized, Dancing with the Stars offers criticism. Three different judges will comment on each dance, and of course, according to the performance, give praise or criticism.

Many love seeing their favorite celebrity out competing and learning to dance and its always a fun way to enjoy your evening. As you cheer on your favorite celebrity, you're also praying that they won't make a mistake and be criticized unduly. You'll actually get an opportunity to get to know your favorite celebrity in a different venue from their normal movies or TV show. Reality TV that includes celebrities allows them to be themselves, and yet still put on a great show.

The show itself is rather addicting, after seeing one performance, there's a good chance that you're going to try to tune in next week and see what happens. This is part of the appeal of a reality show and the fact that it includes your favorite celebrity makes Dancing with the Stars, a top hit.
